cockyfind is an Australian price comparison site. Type in what you’re after and we’ll show you who’s selling it and for how much, cheapest first. No clutter, no “sponsored” results pretending to be the best price. Just the prices.
Why we built it
Shopping around is a pain. Ten tabs, three sale banners, one lingering sense that you probably paid too much. We’d rather do the tab-opening for you, so you can buy the thing and get on with your day, feeling smug.
How it works
- We gather prices. We pull live prices from the stores and marketplaces we’re connected to, several times a day. Right now that’s brand-new, Buy It Now listings on eBay Australia that ship within Australia, with more stores on the way.
- We match them up. Listings for the same product are grouped together using barcodes and model numbers, so you’re comparing like with like.
- We keep score. We record prices over time, so we can tell you whether today’s price is actually good or just wearing a “sale” sticker.
What we don’t do
- We don’t cover every store in Australia. If a shop isn’t in our list, it isn’t in our results, and it might be cheaper. We’d rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
- We don’t sell anything ourselves. When you click “Go to store”, you buy directly from the store, on their terms.
- We don’t let anyone pay to jump the queue. Results are ordered by price, full stop.
How we make money
When you click through to a store and buy something, that store may pay us a small commission. It doesn’t cost you a cent extra, and it doesn’t change the order of our results. Here’s the full story, including exactly what our price-drop labels mean.
Prices change
We refresh prices regularly, but stores can change them at any time. Always check the final price, postage and stock on the store’s site before you buy.
